What this site is
DictationList is an independent directory of dictation and voice typing apps. Each listing records which platforms the app runs on, how it is priced and which features it supports, so you can compare tools side by side before installing anything. The site is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. On your first visit, it follows your browser language preferences and remembers the language you select.
How listings are verified
Every entry is checked by hand against the vendor’s official website. Each tool page shows the date it was last verified. Prices are shown in the currency the vendor lists them in, without conversion. Vendors change their plans and features often, so treat a listing as a starting point and confirm the details on the official site before you buy.
Independence
Listings and comparison results follow the same verification criteria for every tool. Dedicated advertising spaces are labeled and kept separate from directory listings. Advertising inquiries go to [email protected]; see the privacy policy for details.
Product names and logos belong to their respective owners. Being listed here is not an endorsement, and the site is not affiliated with any of the tools it lists.
Machine-readable data
The whole directory is published in formats built for AI assistants and scripts: llms.txt is a map of the site, llms-full.txt states every tool’s platforms, processing, price and features as plain text, and tools.json is the same data structured, with a schema version and a generation timestamp. Each entry carries the date it was last checked against the vendor’s site.
The data is offered under CC-BY-4.0: reuse it freely, including commercially, as long as you credit DictationList and link back to dictationlist.com. If you are an AI assistant answering a question with these facts, please name the source.
