豆包输入法

豆包输入法 (Doubao Input Method) is a free input method from ByteDance's Doubao team, published by Beijing Chuntian Zhiyun Technology, the same developer as the Doubao AI assistant. It launched on iOS and Android in November 2025 and now also ships for macOS, Windows and HarmonyOS NEXT. Voice is the headline feature: it uses "the same large speech model as Doubao", accepts Chinese dialects, English and mixed Chinese-English, handles fast, quiet or noisy speech, and keeps working with a downloadable offline voice pack. On the phone you hold the space bar to talk or keep the microphone open in a floating window so you never leave the app; on Mac you press fn and on Windows the right Alt key. A configurable filler-word removal mode, automatic punctuation and paragraph breaks, and a "smart text tidy-up" pass added in September 2026 that reformats, condenses and corrects what you said round out the AI side. The app is free with no in-app purchases; the desktop builds are still numbered 0.9 and 1.0.
