OpenTypeless is an MIT-licensed Tauri desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux that types polished text into the active app. Hold Fn, Right Alt or Ctrl+/ and speak; audio goes to a speech provider you configure (Deepgram, Groq or OpenAI Whisper, AssemblyAI, Apple Speech on macOS, or a self-hosted Whisper-compatible endpoint) and an optional LLM cleans it up with app-aware styles. It also offers selected-text rewriting by spoken instruction, a translation shortcut, Ask Anything voice questions and a local dictionary. Bring-your-own-key use is unlimited; a Pro plan adds 100,000 hosted cloud words per month without API keys.
