Voice In is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge from Dictanote. Place the cursor in a text box on a website, start it with the toolbar button, Alt+L or the right-click menu, and speech is typed at the cursor in real time. It uses the browser's built-in speech-to-text API, so audio is transcribed by Chrome or Edge and never sent to Dictanote; an internet connection is required and it does not work in other browsers or desktop apps. It supports 50+ languages and 100+ dialects with built-in punctuation and new-line commands in 25 languages. The free plan allows 60 minutes of dictation per day on popular sites; Voice In Plus adds unlimited dictation, Advanced Mode for any site, custom voice commands, undo and delete-word commands, dictation across tabs and a case switcher.
