Voilà Pro

Voilà is a native Swift menu bar dictation app for Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 14 or later, about 8 MB with no Electron and no bundled models. Hold a hotkey, speak, and streaming recognition puts text on screen as you talk; release and it is pasted at the cursor, with an optional delayed-paste window for fixing words or adding them to the vocabulary list first. Five engines are switchable: Soniox, ElevenLabs, Volcengine, Groq and Apple Speech, which runs on device and works offline. Terminal and IDE pasting goes through the Accessibility API so text is not lost while a terminal is rendering. A subtitle mode transcribes without pasting, for films, lectures and podcasts. Optional AI polish sends the transcript to OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint before pasting. The 30-day trial covers everything; afterwards Apple Speech stays free.
