Voxt is an Apache 2.0 macOS voice input app that transcribes speech live and pastes polished text into any app. It can run local ASR and LLM models for fully offline use, or connect to remote providers with your own API keys. Translation, voice-driven rewriting, per-app and per-URL App Branch rules, note mode, meeting mode, file transcription and searchable history extend it beyond basic dictation.

  • Free and open source under Apache 2.0, with unlimited local transcription
  • English, Chinese and Japanese interface localizations
  • Local ASR and LLM support enables private offline processing; remote providers use your own keys
